Coming up soon: XLRI's swank new campus!
One of Indiaโs leading private business schools - XLRI (Xavier Labour Relations Institute) will be launching its brand new campus in the National Capital Region (NCR) by the end of 2014.
Along with setting up a new campus, XLRI will also expand its existing intake of students at both its Jamshedpur and the new NCR campus. While the new campus will accommodate 120 students, the number of seats at the Jamshedpur campus will be increased to 360 by next year. Presently, Jamshedpur has 240 seats. (Read more)
Meanwhile, XLRI is also coming up with a global MBA program in collaboration with Weatherhead School of Management of Case Western University, Cleveland, USA and School of Economics and Management of Tongji University Shanghai, China. (Read more)
Commencing from June 2013, the program will accommodate 20 students each from India, China and USA. This residential program will be spread over three parts: one-third each in Jamshedpur, Shanghai and Cleveland.
As far as the faculty is concerned, they will be picked out from all of these three B-schools. Also, the method of selecting students for the course will be different for all the schools.

- Weatherhead School of Management of Case Western University will bank on GMAT
- School of Economics & Management of Tongji University on its own criteria
Father E Abraham SJ, director, XLRI said that moves are afoot to bring another B-School from Brazil into the fold of this global management programme. (Read more)
XLRI, in its 63rd year of operation recently revealed a new improvised logo for its new brand identity. A modern and stylized representation of the traditional XLRI brand, the new logo has two primary logos (horizontal name logo and shield logo) and a tagline. (Read complete story)
