Eastward ho!
New Delhi, June 2 - Are you planning to set up a foreign campus in India?
No. We do not support exporting MBA education. We believe that collaboration is the right strategy. Our goal is to work with different partners in India. We signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Indian School of Business six months ago and last week we signed an MoU with Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore.
Please tell us more about the recent MoU you signed with IIMB
We've signed this MoU to foster and grow research collaborations between Richard Ivy School of Business and IIMB. This partnership aims at developing India specific case materials for use in business education around the world. Being a significant milestone for both the management schools, this partnership intends to build on the complementary strengths of the institutions through multiple points of collaboration.
The MoU will help expand both schools' global research network and encourage joint research and co-authorship between faculty at IIMB and Ivy with the goal of jointly publishing articles in top international academic and managerial journals.
This partnership is expected to enhance support for PhD training at Ivy and IIMB by providing support to doctoral students who want to pursue course work and/or field research in Canada and/or India and support IIMB's emphasis on case based teaching and writing, enhancing its reputation as a leader in management education in India.

Our endeavour is joint knowledge creation for India and the global market. The world can learn a lot from the interesting things happening in Indian business.
And long distance programmes?
Once we write cases together with IIMB, we intend to jointly teach these cases through video conferencing. One of our goals is to jointly discuss these cases in real time. Our aim is to provide an international classroom experience.
We are also working with leading companies. We are developing programmes for CXOs and custom designing executive education programmes for corporates in India.
