<p style="text-align: justify;">Unlike other developed countries, employment scenario in India has shrugged off recession and is back in reckoning. The government data shows that sectors such as textiles, automobiles, and IT/BPO, among others, generated around 5 lakh jobs in the July-September quarter this fiscal. Even the public sector banks would be hiring extensively in a bid to replace their estimated 40% of their workforce <img style="border: 3px solid black; margin: 3px 4px; float: left;" src="https://images.shiksha.com/mediadata/images/1259670946phpvmpotL.jpeg" alt="" width="150" height="100">that retires over the next two years. Aviation giants like Boeing and Airbus are also intensifying their efforts to leverage India as their maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) hub, this will create around 600,000 new jobs for skilled professionals in the country over next 10 years.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />The figures provided above are just an indication to show that job market is again opening up in India, so what should the students do to capitalize these opportunities. There is a good demand for resources that understand various domains of business and the importance of management education cannot be overemphasized in today&rsquo;s interdisciplinary world. It essentially prepares one to make profitable and judicious decisions within the constraints of resources, materials, men and machines. This stands a management graduate in good stead in almost every professional domain. A management degree makes one flexible to take up multiple roles within a company and can even explore opportunities in all allied sectors.
