Aptly named - Mandi, the event is a one-day field experience that helps students appreciate management theory by putting it into practice in the bustle of the city's market places.The event will see students selling products manufactured by a Mumbai based NGO Navnirmiti on some of the city's busiest thoroughfares like Jangli Maharaj Road, Fergusson College road, kothrud, Aundh etc . The products on sale consist of high-quality science and maths learning tools namely Jodo 3-D Kit, Tangram, Number Balance for primary and high school students.

A pre-Mandi event on the EABS campus will be held to discuss the details and benefits of the event following which the event will be flagged off. The winner will be decided not merely on the basis of who sells the most but in conjunction with a number of allied parameters including student's written reports, a viva voce and group presentations by the participating students.
At the end of the day participants will not only have mastered some of the most pertinent doctrines of marketing, sales, retail, strategy & management, but will also glean insights into human resource management and organizational psychology- and all in the spirit of good clean fun.
