Exciting Package With Bucket Full of Jobs At IIMS

<p style="text-align: justify;">This year, the placement season at one of the premier management institute (IIMs) has brought a lot of promises to the management graduates and which provides a sign of improvement in the economic growth.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />Approximately, 250-300 students have appeared for the final placement in every IIMs. "Like all years, finance would be the dominant <img style="border: 3px solid black; margin: 3px 4px; float: right;" src="https://images.shiksha.com/mediadata/images/1268285417phpbiYoPh.jpeg" alt="" width="150" height="110">sector during placements," says Mr. Praful Agnihotri, chairman-placements of IIM-C.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>IIM-Calcutta:</strong></span><br />IIM Calcutta has placed 50% of its batch, 140 of its 280 students. The highest pay package offered was Rs 85 lakh per annum by consulting firm Oliver Wyman. IIM Calcutta expects rise in salary graph maybe even Rs 1 crore per annum within this week.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>IIM-Bangalore:</strong></span><br />Within five days, IIM Bangalore has placed 100% of its students and saw a 41% raise in slot zero placements. Recruiters include Mckinsey, Boston Consulting Group, Bain &amp; Company, AT Kearney, Nomura, and Temasek Holdings</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>IIM Kozhikode:</strong></span><br />As per last updates, IIM Kozhikode has placed 300 students within two weeks. The recruiters that showed interest in IIM-K placement are manufacturing, consulting, and banking. The average salary package has registered an increase of 24% per cent reaching upto Rs 14 lakh since last year. The consulting sector has emerged the largest recruiter with 30% of offers.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong><br />IIM-Lucknow:</strong></span><br />Under tough economic condition all over the world, IIM Lucknow has successfully concluded the two weeks long placement drive where in record number of companies have marched IIM-Lucknow (IIM-L) to obtain young talents in the campus. The firms that took participation across the drive are finance, real estate, media, general management and consulting firms.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />Around 110 companies took active participation in the institute's summer placement 2010 batch.
