Final ‘Integrated’ Placements report (PGP) of ISB Hyd & Mohali
The Indian School of Business (ISB) has announced the placement results for the Class of 2013 of its Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP). This year’s batch was the largest batch of ISB so far, with 762 students spread across Hyderabad and Mohali campuses.
No. of companies & offers made: As many as 421 companies made 798 offers to 762 students across Hyderabad and Mohali campuses.
Salary details: There was no disclosure of salary offered in the institute’s release. However, upon enquiring, institute’s marketing and communications director Sriram Gopalakrishnan mentioned that the average package is somewhere around 18 lakhs.

Consulting and Sales & Marketing were the two most preferred functional areas for ISB graduates attracting 27 % and 21% of students respectively.

This sector made the largest number of offers on campus. About 300 offers were made by 53 companies such as Apple, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Facebook, Google, HCL, Hewlett Packard, IBM, ITC Infotech, Microsoft, and Wipro Ltd, among others. |

- With the rolling placements still underway, and around 5 % of the Class participating in various stages of the placements process, the numbers of placed students will only increase further, till the process concludes in May, claimed a release from the institute.
- Women students at the ISB, who comprise 29% of the class, reflect a new trend. These women have been hired for strategic and key roles such as director, chief strategy officer, general manager, executive assistant to managing director, vice presidents and regional managers.
- ‘Axis Bank – ISB Leadership Programme’, selected 12 women students to build a women leadership pipeline for their organisation.
- Leadership Programmes stole the show with companies across sectors and geographies continuing to hire form ISB. It constituted around 10% of the total number of offers made this year. Companies include Aditya Birla Group, Bharti Airtel, Axis Bank, IBM India, Ranbaxy Ltd, General Electric, HCL Technologies, among others.
