Faculty of Management Studies’ (FMS) final placement process for MBA batch 2013-15 wrapped up with 217 students receiving 236 offers.

The total strength of the MBA batch 2013-15 is 222. Out of which seven students took the benefit of placement holiday. Two students returned from their entrepreneurial holidays to take part in the placements. A total of 75 companies made offers the 236 offers. About 42 Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) were accepted out of 60 offers made to the students. An increase of 58% was witnessed in the PPOs as compared to the last year. About 70 students accepted the lateral placement offers.

The average salary stood at Rs 17.04 LPA. The average compensation of top 50% students came out as Rs 20.46 LPA. More than 20 LPA salary has been received by 52 students.

The Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte USI and Accenture Strategy made a total of 24 offers (combined). The Consulting and General Management domains at FMS saw a rise of 25% in the number of offers made. Also, in the E-commerce sector, offers went up by five times. More than 40 offers were made by BFSI companies in Finance domain.
