Free Press Journal scholarships awarded

The Free Press Journal Newspaper published for Mumbai, in association with Higher Education Forum awarded 10 scholarships of Rs 20,000 each to students pursuing MBA with finance as their specialization. The need-based scholarships were awarded on the basis of the past academic record of the candidates.

Of the 82 applications received, 26 were shortlisted and interviewed by a special panel. Of these, ten were finally awarded the scholarship. While handing out the certificates and scholarships, Abhishek Karnani, Director of the Free Press Group, congratulated the awardees and wished them success in their future endeavours. The scholarship programme, instituted this year, is now going to be and ongoing annual activity of the group.
