IBSAT 2011 to be held on 24th December, 2011

ICFAI Business Studies Admission Test (IBSAT) is an aptitude test which is conducted by the ICFAI University Group. This exam is a gateway to admission to various management programs. IBSAT 2011 is scheduled to be held on 24th December, 2011 (Saturday) from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The IBSAT score is accepted by a number of management institutes across the country. The competitive structure of the exam is high as it is conducted in all the big cities in India.

Admit Cards:

Admit cards can be downloaded from the website. It is available on website from 15th November, 2011. This online admit card will carry the name, address, roll number of the applicant, test date, timings and details of the test centre. The examination authority will not send any hard copy of admit card to students. The admit card is not transferable.

Eligibility criteria for IBSAT 2011:

  • Graduate in any discipline with 50% and above aggregate marks. Student awaiting their results can also apply
  • Graduation in Statistics / Math's / Economics / Engineering with 50% and above marks
  • Graduation with 50% and above marks and a professional qualification like CFA / CA / CWA / CS
  • Post Graduation in Management with 60% and above marks

Results for IBSAT 2011 will be declared on January 23, 2012. Selection Process will be conducted in 30 cities in February, 2012 and interviews will be conducted in March, 2012 in Hyderabad.

Structure of IBSAT 2011:

The exam will consists of multiple choice questions and the duration of the exam will be 2 hours. The paper will be divided into 4 sections and the total number of questions will be 125. The four sections are mentioned below with the number of questions:

  • English - 50 questions
  • Quantitative Techniques - 25 questions
  • Data Interpretation and Data Adequacy - 25 questions
  • Reading Comprehension - 25 questions
