IGNOU Introduces Full-Time MBA Programme
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched full time MBA programme in Corporate Governance. According to an IGNOU official, the course will have duration of two years and will be taught by eminent experts of management and corporate governance. A graduate from any stream, with a minimum of 50 percentage of marks from recognized university or 45 percent for reserved category, will be eligible to take admission in this MBA course. Moreover, for final selection, all the eligible candidates will be required to give a test, group discussion and a personal interview. The classes of MBA in Corporate Governance will start from July this year.
Students can collect the application forms (both hard and soft copy) from March 31, 2011 and the last date for its receipt of this form will be April 30, 2011. The full-time course has been introduced under the aegis of IGNOU's Centre for Corporate Education, Training and Consultancy, added the official. The MBA degree awarded by IGNOU is accredited by AICTE (All India Council Technical Education) and will encompass the theoretical concepts coupled with topics related to relevant contemporary corporate exposure.
