IGNOU launches pre-admission counselling; invites applications for MBA (B&F), PGDFMP

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched the first ever pre-admission counselling for academic programmes from academic session 2013-14.

The counselling will be held for Master's, Bachelor's, PG diplomas, diplomas and certificates. The counselling will be held in Block-7, Conference Room, IGNOU headquarters, Maidan Garhi in South Delhi from 10.30 am to 5.00 pm on all working days. The last date for pre-admission counselling is July 31.

MBA (B&F) and PGDFMP

IGNOU has also opened admissions for their MBA (Banking & Finance) and Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Markets Practice (PGDFMP) programmes.

MBA (B&F), meant specifically for bankers, has been developed School of Management Studies, IGNOU and the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF), Mumbai. PGDFMP has been developed collaboratively by School of Management Studies, IGNOU and the Financial Technologies Knowledge Management Company (FTKMC), Mumbai.

- Graduate from recognised University,

- Passed CAIIB examinations of Indian Institute of Banking & Finance, Mumbai and awarded the requisite qualification/ credentials thereof by the Institute,

-Working in banking or financial service sector for at least two years.

Any graduate from a recognised university is eligible

‘Student Handbook & Prospectus 2013’ can be obtained from Registrar, Student Registration Division, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi – 110 068 or from any of the IGNOU Regional Centres. Those interested in Prospectus via post need to send a Demand Draft of the requisite amount drawn in favour of ‘IGNOU’ payable at the city from where the Prospectus is requested by June 20, 2013. Applications can also be downloaded from IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in and submitted along with the cost of the Prospectus in addition to the Programme fee.
