IIFT Admissions 2015: Application procedure and test centres

IIFT will conduct the written entrance test on November 23, 2014. The last date to apply is September 3, 2014.

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) holds a written test for its flagship programme MBA in International Business (IB) every year. Candidates are selected on the basis of written test, Group Discussion (GD), Essay Writing and Personal Interview (PI). The annual tuition fee is around Rs 6,75,000.

To apply, candidates need a recognised bachelor’s degree (minimum three years duration) in any discipline. Final year students can also apply.

IIFT’s written test is of two-hours duration.  The exam consists multiple-choice objective-type questions. Questions cover English Comprehension, General Knowledge & Awareness, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Analysis. The exam contains multiple-choice objective-type questions. The exam is generally of two-hour duration.

How to Apply

The cost of Prospectus-cum-Application-Form is Rs 1,550 (Rs 775 for SC/ST/PH candidates). It is a one-time payment which includes application screening and entrance test fee.

Online Application Process: To apply online, Click on the ADMISSIONS 2015 icon (Click here) on the official IIFT website. Fill the details in the online form as per details given in website. Candidates need to send the printed forms along with the necessary enclosures to IIFT. One can choose to pay via Credit / Debit card or submit Demand Draft of requisite amount. Offline Application Process: The candidates can purchase Prospectus-cum-Application-Form in cash or via demand draft. One needs to complete the enclosed Application Form and send it to: Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, B-21, Qutab Institutional Area, and New Delhi-110016. Applications must reach IIFT on or before September3, 2014.

Admit Cards

The Admit Cards will be sent BY POST to all the students, who submit filled-in Application Form complete in all respects (online or offline), in the first week of November 2014. Applicants, who do not receive their Admit Cards by 12th November 2014 can download the Admit Card from IIFT's website (www.iift.edu).

Test Centres

The exam will be held on November 23, 2014 from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon. Candidates should take a printout of the Admit Card, the candidates should reach the Exam Centre venue with one of the following documents (Identity proof): Passport, Election I-Card, College I-Card, Driving Licence, or PAN Card.
