IIFT Admissions 2015: Eligibility Criteria & Selection Procedure
IIFT is all set to conduct its entrance test on November 23, 2014 from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon. The last date to apply for the same is September 3, 2014.
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) conducts the written test for its flagship programme MBA in International Business. The annual tuition fee payable for MBA (IB) is around Rs 6,75,000.
The written entrance exam tests the following skills of the aspirant: English Comprehension, General Knowledge & Awareness, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Analysis. The exam contains multiple-choice objective-type questions. The exam is generally of two-hour duration.
Eligibility
- Recognised bachelorβs degree (minimum three years duration) in any discipline. Candidates appearing in final year examination of Graduation can also apply (subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification by October 7, 2015).
- No age limit.
Selection Procedure
Candidates will first be shortlisted on the basis of the written test. Shortlisted candidates will subsequently be called for Group Discussion (GD), Essay Writing and Personal Interview (PI). Final selection will be based on the combination of thee the above (i.e. Written Test, GD, Essay Writing and PI).
The written test will be held on Sunday November 23, 2014 at Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhubeneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hydrabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur and Visakhapatnam.
The second phase of selection process (GD, Essay Writing and PI) will be held at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai.
