IIKM Business School, Chennai Application Submission Deadline on March 31

Students who are interested in applying for the MBA, PGPM or ERP program at the IIKM Business School in Chennai should submit their application forms by March 31, 2011.

Eligibility criteria for the MBA programme are: a graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University, valid score in the one of the recognized exams, i.e., one of CAT, MAT, ATMA, or TANCET. The school also conducts an aptitude test and an online psychometric test for selected students. Students, who have not appeared for other exams, can alternatively appear for the IIKM Entrance Exam. Academic performance, test score, student's performance at the interview and prior work experience are some of the scoring points for the students.

Students who are admitted for the full time MBA programme have the advantage of studying the PGPM course as well. The Post Graduate Programme in Management is a Diploma course that offers Industry-approved foundation modules that enhances the study of a MBA student by equipping him with professional skills necessary to get a plum job.

The PGPM syllabus includes a wide range of crucial business subjects such as: Customer Relationship Management, Global Strategic Management, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Portfolio Management, and Corporate Ethics. For the sixth semester, students can select any electives from the following - Marketing, Human Resource, Finance, System, Production, Health Care Management, Entrepreneurship and Event Management.
