IIM-A students to get lessons from Kolveri Star
If you are a big fan of Kolaveri then it's a moment of triumph as Dhanush, mastermind behind the successful kolaveri will give lessons on viral marketing to IIM-A students.
Indian Institute of Management (IIM-A) is making a move towards innovative and practical based learning. Earlier Anna hazare anti-corruption movement was discussed as a case study in various IIMs. Now Kolaveri Di has stolen the show.
Management students at IIM-A will now learn the art of viral marketing or more precisely, the promotion strategy behind Kolaveri Di. Dhanush will give some tips to students as how to promote a brand. He will also deliver a lecture and will share the success story of the โFlop song'. He will give this lecture to about 130 students of Contemporary Film industry (CFI) course at IIM-A.
The main focus of this lecture will be success story of Kolaveri Di, perception and insights by Dhanush and Anirudh, viral marketing and social media. At present, youngsters are very quick in sharing their thoughts and experiences and this is the reason as why viral marketing is soaring high these days. (Read more)
Dhanush has mentioned in his tweet that I'm looking forward for my lecture at IIM-A. Though I'm not good in English but who cares I'm an Indian. Kolaveri di is the classic example of viral marketing. Most of the IIMs have already screened the song in classrooms to discuss the promotion strategy that can be used by the companies to leverage the business activities.
