IIM Bangalore EGMP 2016-2017: Last day to apply August 11

The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM B) is inviting applications for admission to its part-time certificate program for working professionals. The course, Executive General Management Programme (EGMP), is exclusively designed for functional managers planning to move into general management role. The course helps in developing core business skills and competencies, to aid them in handling cross-functional areas.

The one-year program will commence from September 24, 2016. Interested candidates can enroll themselves latest by August 11, 2016.

Here’s an overview:

Eligibility:

• The candidate must be a Graduate in any subject from a recognized university
• The candidate must have five years of work experience
• Technologists seeking to broaden their knowledge of business and move on to general management responsibilities as business heads, can also apply
• There’s no age restriction

Admission Process:          

Admission to EGMP 2016-2017 is granted on the basis of interview, academic record and work experience. The candidates are advised to fill in their application form carefully as a lot of weightage is given to it while shortlisting the candidate.

Application Process:

Application process is currently underway and the candidates can apply till August 11, 2016. The online process entails registering on the official website and filling up the application form.

Filling up the form:

• Log on to the official website
• Click on the exec Education tab and got to EGMP page.
• Read instructions carefully and furnish details to avail the brochure and apply online.
• Once you have registered, you will need to click on ‘Apply Online’ to access the application form.
• Fill the form carefully. Each field should have valid information including the reference of organisations you’ve worked in as the institute will cross-check with the organisations before granting admission.
• You will be required to upload your passport size photo not older than 6 months along with the form.
• The form must be duly filled. Incomplete form will be rejected.
• Preview your form before clicking on ‘Submit’ tab as the information cannot be edited after submission.

• Copies of Class X, XII and Graduation Marksheets/Certificates
• Experience Letters from previous organistions
• Copy of Age Proof
• Copy of Permanent Address Proof
• Statement of Purpose
• Recent passport size photographs

Fee structure:

Total fees of the one-year program is Rs 5, 28000 (+ service tax) payable in three instalments.
