IMT Ghaziabad opens distance learning admissions for PGDM and PGDM (Executive)

Institute of Management Technology’s (IMT) Centre of Distance Learning (CDL) has opened admissions for their two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme and one-year PGDM (Executive) programme. The last date of application is January 18, 2014. The areas of specialisation offered in two-year PGDM programme are: Finance, Marketing, Operations, Systems, Human Resource Management and International Business. The areas of specialisation offered in one-year PGDM programme are: Business Administration, Financial Management, Marketing Management, Human Resource Management and Materials & Supply Chain Management. “The maximum duration for completing any course is the double number of years of normal duration,” says the official notification.

Eligibility
Two-year PGDM: Graduation in any discipline
One-Year 1-YEAR PGDM (Executive): Graduates with minimum 3 years full-time work experience

Selection

“The selection to the various programmes of IMT-Centre for Distance Learning is based on screening by the selection committee,” says the official release.               

For admission into the two-year PGDM is through admission test which will be conducted at the information & facilitation centres by IMT-CDL (Head Office). The entrance test will be held on January 19, 2014. Results of the test will be displayed at the information centres within one week of the examination.

The following categories are exempted from admission test:

• Candidates having two years of work experience after graduation
• Candidates through-out first class (60% or above) from 10th, 12th and graduation
• Technical or Legal Professionals/CA/ICWA/CS/MBBS/M-Tech
• Holders of PG Diploma of IMT-CDL’s One Year Programme

No entrance is required for one-year PGDM (Executive) Programme.
