IRMA FPRM 2012
The Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), regarded amongst India's pioneer academic institutions in rural management education and research. The main aim of this institute lies in promoting sustainable, eco-friendly and equitable socio-economic development for rural people through professional management of their institutions. It believes in building and sustaining a partnership between rural people and committed professional managers. IRMA FPRM entrance will be conducted on 13 November 2011 from 9:15 a.m. till 12:15p.m. IRMA FPRM is a three year duration doctoral education programme. This AICTE approved programme has been targeted towards students and professionals seeking careers in Research, Teaching and specialised knowledge-based positions in Rural Management Institutions. 
The admission process comprises of three steps:
- The screening of application
- Written Entrance Examination
- Personal Interviews
Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate must fulfill the following criterion before applying for this programme:
- PRM from IRMA; or
- OYP from IRMA with one year post-diploma work experience
- Post Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or Institution with 55% marks at PG and 50% marks at graduation (college) level; or
- Five year professional degree (Medicine, Veterinary Science, Architecture, etc.) with 60% marks at graduation; or
- Four year professional degree (Engineering Agricultural Sciences, etc.) with 60% marks at graduation and one year work experience.
IRMA FPRM entrance takes place for three hours and comprises of 200 questions. The written test is divided into four parts mainly into Analytical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability, English comprehension and Issues of Social Concern. While Analytical Reasoning and quantitative reasoning are of 50 marks, English comprehension and Issues of social concern are given a weight age of 40 marks and 60 marks respectively. Negative marking is applicable the weightage for which is decided by the management time to time. The examination will take place across 27 cities which are listed below:
