ISB expands campus, attracts more PGP students

With the addition of a new campus at Mohali, Indian School of Business (ISB) is positioned as the largest premier B-school in India. ISB's post-graduate programme in management (PGP), one of the most coveted programs, will now be conducted at both Mohali and Hyderabad campuses, catering to a wider talent pool in the country. The strength at both the campuses is around 767 students.

 

Ajit Rangnekar, dean of ISB told Economic Times that the newly added campus will contribute towards making world-class business education more accessible to many more students. The School looks forward to have its students make the best of the programme to hone their management skills and go on to become effective business leaders.

 

The expansion with another campus has witnessed a rise of 28 per cent in the number of women students at ISB. There are also more students from entrepreneurial background. A rise in admissions from tier I and II cities is also seen in the current batch. (Read more)
