The Indian School of Business (ISB) has announced that it will commence the first academic session at the Mohali campus from April 14, 2012, reported India Education Diary. This marks a new phase of advancement for the school after 10 years of growth and accomplishment in the field of management education.

ISB is set to start a flagship Post-Graduate Programme (PGP) this year which will be simultaneously delivered across Hyderabad and Mohali campuses. The class will have 770 students..out of which approximately 210 students will be at the Mohali campus.

The PGP in Management at ISB is a one year rigorous programme ideal for working professionals who want to enhance their careers without a long break from work.

Savita Mahajan, Deputy Dean and Chief Executive of the Mohali campus told Education Diary that the Mohali campus is an extension of ISB and the values that it stands for. ISB has set several benchmarks and raised the standard for world-class management education since the past 10 years. The new campus will work with the same commitment to groom future business leaders by replicating the excellence displayed.

The campuses will function as one unified entity with a seamless integration across each other. The school will also introduce an inter-campus exchange programme to ensure cross-learning and increase networking across the campuses. Spreading over 12 months, the PGP usually starts with the "Orientation Week" where ISB Alumni from previous classes induct the new class into the ISB culture and ethos.

In terms of infrastructure and facilities, the Mohali campus is a INR 250 Crores worth project and is equipped with state-of-the-art learning infrastructure - lecture theatres, a 500-seater auditorium, high definition video conferencing facilities to enable collaboration across locations, seamless access to digital and online library resources, etc. The construction is nearly finished and is set to open on 14th April.
