The main purpose of starting this program in India is that it has collaborations and exchanges with many Indian universities and the top performers are mostly Indian who comes from these exchange programmes. Alberto Grando, dean of SDA Bocconi said that in order to meet the demand of international students, the university has chosen India as its first international campus.

The university will offer a full time post graduate program and the duration of the program will be 2 years. It will cost around 16 lakhs. The focus of the program will be freshers and candidates who have three years of relevant work experience. To get admission, students will have to take the Common Admission Test or the GMAT.

This program aims at providing international as well as local industry exposure to students. Bocconi has realised that most Indians go on to become top level managers abroad.
