KMAT 2014: Application Procedure & Test Centres
KMAT 2014 is scheduled to be held on July 27, 2014. The last date to apply for the same is July 15, 2014.
KMAT, state-level management entrance test, is conducted by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Collegesβ Association (KPPGCA) on behalf of the Government of Karnataka. The test scores are used for admission to PGDM, MBA and MCA courses in more than 169 colleges in Karnataka. To view participating colleges, click here.
Hall Tickets for KMAT 2014 will be issued online on July 20, 2014. To be eligible, candidates must be graduates from any recognised university with at least 50% marks.
Aspirants will finally be selected in MBA colleges on the basis of KMAT scores, group discussion and personal interview.
How to Apply
The application fee for MBA is Rs 700. However, if candidates are applying for both MBA and MCA, the application fee is Rs 1000. Candidates have to submit a Demand Draft in favour of βKMAT 2014β, payable at Bangalore.
βStudents are admitted on the basis of an entrance tests and marks secured in the qualifying exam. The test consists of objective type questions and contains different papers for MBA/PGDM and MCA,β informed a notice on the official website.
