KMAT scheduled for July 22

Conducted by the Karnataka Private Postgraduate Colleges’ Association (KPPGCA), Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) is designed for students who wish to pursue MBA and MCA programs in the state of Karnataka. This is the ninth successful year of the KMAT.

KMAT is scheduled to be held on Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm.

KPPGCA has 169 member institutions under its umbrella which are affiliated to respective universities in Karnataka.

Eligibility criteria for KMAT 2012:

To be eligible for this exam, one must have any bachelor’s degree from any discipline i.e. science, humanities, commerce, computers from any recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all subjects.

Paper pattern of KMAT 2012:

KMAT is an objective type exam of three hour duration. The exam can be taken for – MBA paper or MBA & MCA combined paper. The paper patterns will differ as given below:

Paper pattern of MBA:

There will be 3 sections in the MBA paper which contains 120 questions.

Paper pattern of Combined MBA & MCA:

There will be 4 sections in combined MBA and MCA paper which contains 160 questions.

The exam will be conducted across 16 centers in the state. Scores of KMAT 2012 will be accepted by 157 B-schools in the state.
