Latest Update: CAT 2015 topper profiles: 7 engineers with 100 percentile!

CAT 2014 results are out! And with that the names of toppers are slowly pouring in.

According to information, 16 candidates have scored 100 percentile. Among the 16 candidates, there are 15 males and one female.

"This time 16 candidates have topped the CAT 2014 examination – 15 boys and one girl,” said CAT 2014 Convener Professor Rohit Kapoor.

Out of the 16 CAT toppers there are (atleast) four IIT students and (at least) one student from BITS Pilani. Two CAT toppers are from Delhi-NCR, one from Indore, two from West Bengal, and one from Karnataka.

Many CAT 2014 aspirants have not yet been able to check their results. “The results were declared at 5 pm. It’s going to be 9 pm and I have not been able to see my results yet,” said an anxious CAT 2014 aspirant, on condition of anonymity.

CAT 2014 Topper Profiles:

1. Neha Manglik, BITS Pilani

The only girl to top CAT 2014 with 100 percentile is Delhi-based Neha Manglik. Neha is a student of Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, batch 2013-15. She was also one of the toppers of CMAT September 2014 (Rank 5).

"I am quite happy about the results," she told Shiksha.com.

2. Pranjul Gupta, IIT Kanpur

Next 100 percentiler, is pursuing final-year Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) - Kanpur. He has scored 99.99 in Section-1 and 99.97 in Section-2.

“This is my first CAT 2014 attempt. I started preparing for CAT in summers'14. Kept taking mock tests at regular intervals till CAT,” he told Shiksha.com

Pranjul is aiming for IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Calcutta. He also has a placement offer from Snapdeal.

3. Harshveer Jain, IIT Bombay

Indore-based Harshveer, IIT Bombay 2014 passout, has also scored a whopping 100 percentile. He is currently working with Housing.com. e has scored 141.71 in Quant and 129.9 in VA. Overall score is 269.75.

4. Vishesh Patni, IIT Kanpur

Another 100 percentiler from IIT Kanpur. Vishesh is an undegraduate student in the physics department. His overall scaled score in 273.91. Read his interview here.

5. Soumyadeep Chakraborty, Jadavpur University

Soumyadeep Chakraborty from West Bengal, student of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Jadavpur University, has scored 100 percentile.

His scorecard: VA - 100 and QA - 99.97.

6. Anurag Reddy, IIT Bombay

7. Aashish Chiller, IIT Delhi

Aashish is a final year student of production and industrial engineering at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. His scores in Section 1 is 134.68 (99.92 Percentile) and Section 2 is 118.51 (99.93 Percentile). The overall score stands at 261.74 (100 percentile). 8. Rajesh Balasubramanian, IIT Madras

And for the third time, Rajesh scores a perfect 100.

That's right, Rajesh scored 100 percentile in CAT 2011 and CAT 2012.

The third IIT B candidate to score a hundred percentile!

10. M. Maheedhar, IIT Delhi

Eight IITian score 100 percentile.

11. Uttam Kumar Reddy, IIT Madras

An IIT Madras pass out, Uttam is currently working as a Market Analyst with Futures First Info. Services.

12. Aditya Vikram Singh, IIT Guwahati

Aditya is a final year student of mechanical engineering at IIT Guwahati. Aditya loves debating and even represented IIT Guwahati in the World Debating Championship 2014.
