M.S. Dhoni Brain Mapping for a New Course at IIM-R

Imagine if you could map the brain of your favorite Mahendra Singh Dhoni! Yes, the reputed Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi is planning to materialize the same very soon. The institute is planning to venture into Neuro Management by M.S. Dhoni Brain Mapping and understand the reasons for Indian Cricket Captain's success as a leader.

The management institute wants to take Ranchi's fame in mental health to the next level, and is in the process of tying with the city's Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP) to start the new course. The results of the M.S. Dhoni Brain Mapping will be the precursor to a full-fledged Neuro management course.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been sent an invitation in this regard and the institute is waiting for his reply. According to IIM Ranchi Director MJ Xavier, study of biological reactions and people's animal instincts mixed with management theories would not only create better managers, but also better human beings.

The Director is of the belief that Neuromarketing will be the next big thing and brain reactions as well as its functioning, can now be mapped. He also said that Ranchi has adequate resources to start a course in Neuro-marketing.

It is notable that extensive research is going on in the field of neuro-marketing in UK and China, therefore Neuromarketing can be employed for design of products and services, packaging and branding .

The institute was already in the process of getting required technical infrastructure like functional magnetic resonance imaging machine, with the help of which human behaviour can be predicted with 80% accuracy. IIM Ranchi has already enrolled two research scholars in this field and to hold an international seminar on neuro-marketing next year.

According to IIM Ranchi Director, the institute will start conducting courses spread over three to 10 days and have regular two-year courses from 2014.
