MAH-CET now scheduled for 11th March '12

Maharashtra common entrance test (MAH-CET) is one of the better known state-level MBA entrance exams for pursuing MBA in Maharashtra. The exam has been rescheduled from 26th February, 2012 to 11th March, 2012.
This exam is a gateway to top B-schools in Maharashtra- K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research, JBIMS, Welingkar Education, Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Research and Entrepreneurship Education (SIMSREE) and other institutes in Maharashtra.
The conducting body of the exam, Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has decided to postpone the exam to avoid clash with the newly introduced pan-India entrance test CMAT. In November 2011, DTE had announced the date of MAH-CET for admission to various programmes like MBA, MMS, PGDBM, and PGDM. (Read more...)
MAH-CET is a paper-pencil based test and about 200 questions come in the test paper.
The exam is divided into 6 sections:
1. Quantitative aptitude
2. Data interpretation
3. Data sufficiency
4. Logical reasoning and visual reasoning
5. Verbal ability
6. Reading comprehension
