Some major changes have been introduced in FMS 2011 admission process and courses so that the admission procedure becomes convenient for students. It's now possible for applicants to register themselves online on the official website of FMS. Also, FMS has stepped forward to conglomerate the two-year full time MBA in management services (MBA-MS) with its flagship MBA (full time) course under the new course name โ€˜MBA (FT)'. K. Mamkoottam, FMS Dean, clarified that the decision to combine the two courses has been taken by the academic council and that the total number of seats for the MBA (FT) course has not been reduced since previous year.

The pioneer institute FMS, Delhi has announced that an entrance examination would be conducted for the part-time healthcare administration programme. Some new locations, Varanasi, Roorkee and Baroda, have also been included in the list of test centers. The dates for entrance exam have also been postponed by a month's time. The maximum student intake for the MBA (FT) programme will be 226; the entrance test will be conducted on December 5, 2010. Phd scholars would also be selected on the basis of an entrance test to be held on the same day. The entrance test for the part-time course in healthcare administration will be held on January 23, 2011.
