Students who are interested in applying for the Post Graduate Diploma in Management at the Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur should do so before March 30, 2011. Students can get course related information from the institute website at http://www.jimj.ac.in/

The application form can also be posted to the Institute along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 1050 (drawn in favour of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur). You will also be required to enclose a copy of your score at CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA exams along with your final mark sheet of graduation programme.

The selection process for this course is strictly based on merit. Students who have performed well in their CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA or GMAT (for foreign students) will be selected. Your performance in the group discussion and at the personal interview will also carry lot of weightage. Past academic records and relevant work experience will also considered before granting an admission at this B-school.

Selected students will be called for a group discussion and personal interview at either one of these locations of their choice -- Jaipur, Jodhpur, New Delhi, Rohtak, Kolkata, Varanasi, Patna, Chandigarh, and Ranchi.

The Post Graduate Diploma in Management is a two-year full-time program that is approved by AICTE. The programme is structured to offer 38 courses of which 22 are compulsory courses and 16 are elective courses. The PGDM also allows the students to specialize in dual subjects of their choice. Subjects in which the students can specialize include - Strategy, Finance, Human Resource Management and Organization Behavior, Information Management, Marketing, Operations and Retail Management.

Students who are interested in applying for this course should have completed their Bachelor's Degree in any subject or its equivalent (as per 10+2+3 system) and must have scored 50% aggregate marks in their passing exams. Students who have studied in Universities, which is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities/AICTE will only be considered eligible to apply for this programme.

Students who are yet to appear for their final year graduate programme exams can also apply for PGDM. They would have to complete all the formalities related to their graduate studies before the month of June this year. These students will be selected on the merit of their semester exams and will be allowed to join the programme on a provisional basis. Full admission to the PGDM programme will be determined on their final graduate examination marks where they should score 50% aggregate marks. Students who fail to score the required marks will not be admitted to the programme.

Students who wish to apply for study loans can contact the institute once the admission is through. The Institute is affiliated to many financial institutions that grant the students study loans, which can be repaid once they complete the course and land a job.

The Jaipuria Institute of Management is a sprawling 5-acre campus with top class amenities such as fully air-conditioned lecture halls, huge library facilities, computer lab, recreation rooms, hostels and auditoriums.
