Management aspirants get ready as MAT is here. The first Management Aptitude of Test (MAT) of the year is scheduled to be held on February 5th, 2012. Every year MAT is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) for admission to various management colleges in the country.

The paper-pencil test will take place on Sunday, 5th February, 2012 and the computer based test will take place from Saturday, February 11, 2012 onwards. The duration of the test will be 2.5 hours and the paper pencil test will be held from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm while the online test will be conducted in different time slots.

Eligibility criteria:

To be eligible for this test, you should be a graduate in any discipline. Final year students of graduate courses can also apply.

Structure of the exam:

The written test will have five sections; each section will be carrying 40 questions. The total number of questions will be 200.

 Selection Procedure:

Selection will be made on the basis of merit in written test.

List of Participating management colleges:

There are about 462 B-schools that will participate in the test and will accept the MAT scores to provide admissions to the students for their respective management institutes and colleges.

Test centers for MAT 2012:

The exam will be conducted in 68 cities across the country. This time MAT will not be conducted at international centers of Dubai and Singapore as it was conducted for MAT December 2011.
