MAT September 2014: Exam pattern and participating institutes
MAT September 2014 will in two modes. The paper-pencil mode will be held on Sunday, September 7 whereas the online exam will be held from Saturday, September 13, onwards.
Conducted by AIMA (All India Management Association), MAT is an objective-type exam. It has multiple type choice questions in both paper and online mode.
The test is for two and a half hours. Two hundred (200) questions need to be attempted in 150 minutes. The questions were from five test areas – Indian and Global Environment, Language Comprehension, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning. There are 40 questions in each section. Each question carries one mark whereas one/fourth marks is deducted for wrong answer.
