MH CET for MBA/MMS on Mar 15 & 16, 2014
MH-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) is planned to be conducted online on March 15 & 16, 2014, for admissions to management institutes in Maharashtra. This state level exam is back after being scrapped last year, when admissions to management institutes in the state were done through AICTE CMAT.
In October 2013, the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Mumbai decided to re-launch MH-CET from the coming academic session 2014-15.
As per a notification on the website, the 'MAH-MBA/MMS-CET' will be used to fill the following seats from 2014:
- 85% seats in the government-run and aided MBA/MMS institutes in the state
- 65% seats at private unaided and minority institutes
Another 15% seats will be filled through the all-India quota that includes CAT, JMET, MAT, XAT, ATMA, and CMAT.
MH CET is also known as MAH-MBA (Masters in Business Administration) and Masters of Management Studies (MMS)-CET. The detailed information about the 2014 exam is expected to be out by January 2014.
