New IIMs send shortlist emails; list to be available on IIM Trichy website from January 30
The shortlist was officially supposed to come out on Jan 30, but looks like the six new IIMs – Kashipur, Ranchi, Raipur, Rohtak, Trichy & Udaipur – have started sending individual shortlist emails to candidates.
Many students received it in SPAM, raising doubts on its authenticity. However, IIM-Trichy officials confirmed sending out the emails. "Tomorrow onwards, candidates can log in to view the list on IIM Trichy website," said an official from the institute.
The email received by most students reads like this:
“Dear Candidate,
Congratulations!!
You have been shortlisted for the Common Admission Process (PI & WAT) for the PGDM 2014-16 of one or more new IIMs, ie., Kashipur, Ranchi, Raipur, Rohtak, Trichy & Udaipur.
Further details on PI & WAT will be available on the link mentioned below by 30th January 2014.
You are required to fill the Personal Data Form available online on the below link for further processing, which will be activated by 30th January 2014.

The above link takes the candidates to a page which states:
“List of candidates for WAT & PI for IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Rohtak, IIM Trichy & IIM Udaipur will be available in the website on 30th January 2014 for access,” states an official notification on IIM Trichy website.
It further states, “Requests for change of centre for PI & WAT have to reach the Admissions cell of IIM Trichy on or before 3rd February 2014.”
