New Management Courses to be introduced by IIMs
IIMs are the most prestigious business schools in India which provides higher education to students. IIMs are popularly known as centers of excellence and it indulges itself in producing the cutting edge management professionals across the country. 
After receiving expertise in producing management professionals for the corporate world; it's time for a breakthrough. IIMs are planning to introduce some new interesting courses and it will make the higher education more interesting and attractive. The introduction of new courses can increase the value of higher education plus it will provide aspirants with options in different spheres.
In a recent meeting, IIM Directors with HRD Minister Kapil Sibal have decided to introduce new management programmes in areas like education, health, agriculture, law and energy. However, this unique experiment will only be implemented after a committee of experts which will be set up by the HRD Ministry.
The committee's recommendations will be discussed at the next meeting of the ministry. There are some management issues in the health sector too. Till now, there are number of IIMs which caters to the needs of the business community; but nothing has been done in this direction to manage such institutes.
Well, there is no definite time frame to introduce the courses. Sibal also stated that the change should happen during the government's current term as most of the students opt for sectors which offer lucrative remuneration packages.
