If your are still stuck in the awe of good old days when standard business administration concepts included in a MBA program used to attract top organizations, then you need to wake up and get a reality check. Gone are the days when companies used to get impressed by any individual with a MBA degree. With evolving times, acquiring a MBA tag too has become passรฉ with new situations demanding an upgraded form. In today's world of cut-throat competition, companies have begun giving huge weightage to a new MBA trend, a new power position - that of a CIO i.e. Chief Information Officer. As a consequence, they have started looking for students with an extra zeal and proficiency.

A person with this designation should have entrepreneurial experience as well as technical expertise in information technologies. Considering the fact, that an entrepreneur is mainly concerned with doings of entrepreneurial department and an IT manager is chiefly concerned with technical matters, it's the business segment that mainly relies on information system and vice versa.

In a world clinging on survival of the fittest methodology, those relying on modern business administration must adapt to the new ways of doing business and learn the art of managing modern enterprises.

Since nowadays, companies are hugely relying on individuals with knowledge of electronic skills; they prefer hiring personnel's who can adroitly handle domains like:
