NIMS Organised its Annual Fest - "EXURBANCE 2010-11"

Exuberance@NIMS 2010-11 Concludes on Colourful note
More than 25 B-School participated from Delhi & NCR

Netaji Subhash Institute of Management Sciences (NIMS) Pitampura Delhi,India's one of the best Management college, conducted its two-day annual youth festival EXUBERANCE@NIMS 2010-11. It started on 7th January and concluded on a colourful note and musical night on 8 January 2011. The last day of the programme witnessed colourful events included exciting rocking dance show , musical program and Rock Band competition with the fashion show that attracted crowd on the occasion.

The program was commenced with lightening of the lamp by Maj Gen ( Retd ) S S Chahal Director of NIMS Pitampura The chief guest Shri Dr Anil Kumar Sharma chairman and managing director Amrapali Group and Mr Arun Sharma the General Manager Priya Gold inaugurated the two days fest. The event also changed the mood of the college ground giving it ‘Mini India' look with scintillating dance performances from students. More than 25 B-School from NCR & Delhi participated in academic cultural program EXUBERANCE@NIMS 2010-11.

Mr Purshottam Aggarwal Chairman NIMS , Bharat Aggarwal (Gen Secretary), Puneet Aggarwal (CFO NIMS), Maj Gen. Chahal ( Director NIMS ) and Dr D.K Batra (Dean academics NIMS) were present to welcome the chief guest.

The Chief Guest in his brief speech addressed the students and said that the success is not easy and one has to have a commitment with himself and should have a feeling of humanity ,a determination and zeal to be successful .Dr Anil Sharma C.M.D Amrapali Group said that he started his career as academician and also worked as city magistrate at Patna Bihar but he had a goal to start a business and within seven years of time he could achieve a turn over of Rs 4000 cr. He also said that he has a dedicated team of professionals and believes in hard work. He wishes NIMS a great success.

The campus auditorium also witnessed on the Rangoli depicting various facets of life on the Floor. The theme of the Rangoli was received special attention. Fashion show remained special attraction at the venue. The winner colleges were BVIMR, IIMC, NDIM, NIMS, BVIMR, Rajdhani College, IMS Noida for RANGOLI, AD-MAD SHOW, MIND GRILL, JAM, Antakshiri ,ROCK BAND, SINGING Competition, SCRABLE respectively.

In his address, Dr. D. K Batra , Dean of Netaji Subhash Institute of Management Sciences (NIMS) Pitampura , said that during these two-day event students didn't enjoy only but also they learnt the features of the Indian industrial structure, economic policies, understanding of cultural issues and the nuances of doing business in India through debates and extempore sessions.

At the closing ceremony of the EXUBERANCE@NIMS 2010-11 Ms. Priyanka Aggrawal ,Coordinator, NIMS Pitampura, said, "The students were very enthusiastic to learn the different facets of creativity. The complete enlightening enjoyment created for the students was a comprehensive two days long capsule about our culture, governance, policy and entertainment as well."

Various activities of the Fest help students to develop all round personality for their bright career in the corporate world. The Fest has been great Success.
