NMAT 2015: Eligibility Criteria for the exam

NMAT 2015 dates are out. The exam will be held from Tuesday, October 7, 2014 to Saturday, December 20, 2014. This computer-based exam is conducted by Pearson VUE for admission to SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, School of Business Management.

Last date to register for the exam is Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Last date to register with late fee is Saturday, October 4, 2014.

Candidates can choose their examination dates. Scheduling will start from July 17, 2014. Candidates also have the option to re-take (second attempt) the exam twice. All the scores will be displayed and one can choose the best score.

Candidates shortlisted on the basis of the NMAT scores will be called for Case Discussion (CD) and Personal Interview (PI) for admission to MBA programmes.

MBA  (Mumbai Campus)

- Full time Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt.

- Those candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.

MBA in HR

Selection process is separate (Mumbai Campus)

- Full time Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt.

- Those candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.

MBA in Pharmaceutical Management

Selection process is separate

(Mumbai Campus)

- Full Time Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4) in Pharmacy, Science, Life Sciences, MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, BSc and MSc in Biotechnology from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt. Post Graduate degree holders in Economics, Psychology and Sociology can also apply.

- Candidates with B.Tech. or B.E. in Bio-Tech. or Bio- Medical are also eligible to apply.

- Those candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.

- Candidates working in Pharmaceutical Companies for more than two years are preferred.

PGDM - Bengaluru campus

PGDBM - Hyderabad campus

- Full Time Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt.

 

- Those candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.

Clauses

  • Candidates appearing in final examination of their Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply. Admission is subject to clearing final examination in first attempt and in the stipulated duration with 50% aggregate marks.
  • For all the fulltime programs, candidates with two or more years of post-qualification work experience will be preferred.
  • At the time of admission, the candidate should have cleared all the trimesters / semesters of the program.
  • Candidate has to produce semester-wise / trimester-wise marksheets of all years at the time of admission.  Only consolidated mark sheets will not be entertained.
  • Candidates who have passed or have appeared for graduation examination from a University where Grade Point Average is given, must produce in writing from the University concerned, about the equivalent percentage for the GPA/CGPA obtained.

Plz tell me if i hv backlogs in my engineering.not in final year but in previous yrs records.even then am i eligible for admissions in narsee monjee ?
