Pay Rs 17 lakh for PGP at IIM-B

The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B) has hiked its annual fees to INR 17 lakh due to market inflation and consumer indices.

The information was published by local English daily. Shiksha correspondent tried to contact the concerned officers. However, there was no response.

The fee for the batch of 2015 has been increased by 6% from INR 15 lakh to INR 17 lakh. Currently, IIM-Ahmedabad is charging Rs 16.6 lakh while IIM Lucknow (IIM-L) charges INR 12.5 lakh for their PGP programmes. IIM-L may change their fee structure soon.

According to information, the new fee for two-year PGP programme at IIM-B will cover tuition, hostel accommodation, health insurance, course and reading material including cases and books, computing facilities, library and other academic and co-curricular expenditure.
