Prerana Business Quiz 2009

<p><strong>Prerana Business Quiz</strong>, or PBQ, has been the most anticipated and coveted quiz in the B-School fraternity since its inception in 2001. Organized by the management batch of National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), as part of their annual business conclave<strong> Prerana</strong>, this event is a corporate v/s student quiz with participation from the highest level corporate managers across India and students from the top Business Schools in the country.</p> <p><br /><br />This year, around 85 teams were present for the written elimination round. The top three corporate teams and top three student teams were selected for the final. Battling it out for prizes worth Rs 50000 were the corporate teams from Accenture/Questsoft, Sun Microsystems, Deutsche Bank/ICICI, and student teams from ITM, S P Jain, NITIE. The charismatic Radhakrishnan Srinivasan (RK), the face of NEO cricket, upheld the mantle of quizmaster and entertained the crowd with his witty comments. The brilliant questions, researched by Quizmonks, were appreciated by all quiz enthusiasts present there. With the teams from Accenture/Questsoft and Deutsche Bank/ICICI taking away the prizes for first and second position respectively, this year&rsquo;s PBQ saw the corporates proving their supremacy over the students. Aimed to provide students a platform to benchmark their knowledge with the best in the country, the <strong>Prerana Business Quiz</strong> was a fitting climactic finale to P<strong>rerana 2009</strong>.</p>
