Gone are the days when students used to opt for careers with hefty salary packages, now they are more concerned about their job profiles. According to the above said quote a career opted of one's choice doesn't seem like work but it rather becomes a child's play. The interest levels of a professional are higher if what he or she is doing is of their choice paving way for a much fulfilled career path.

A survey was conducted with 500 students across India and 83% of the students preferred job profile over huge salaries. This analysis was conducted in some of the top B-schools including Indian Institute of Management, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Institute of Management Technology, SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Symbiosis Institute of International Business (Pune), Xavier Institute of Management (Bhubaneswar), ICFAI Business School, Birla Institute of Management Technology, Institute of Agri Business across India. When given a choice between working for a growing company or an established one, 60% of the students are picking up companies in their growing phase.

Choosing such an organization ensures ample growth opportunities for the candidates. While banking emerged as the choicest sector with 51% of votes, Consultancy, marketing and IT are considered among the favorable sectors. In this study, 75% of the candidates wish to pursue jobs abroad since developed economies provide better working conditions, good living standard and a promising future. USA tops the list with United Kingdom and Australia in second and third positions respectively. Europe, Canada, Singapore and UAE were also among the favorites.
