Shiksha Experts Meet 2010

An event that acknowledged the contribution of Shiksha Experts!

To bring together the two significant communities of Shiksha.com, Shiksha Experts and our Top Managers, who've played a major role in making Shiksha.com, Shiksha Experts Meet 2010 was organized on September 18, 2010 at Info Edge Ltd., Noida, India.

The event was organized with the intent to acknowledge the invaluable contribution made by various experts on Shiksha.com. It proved to be a good occasion for sharing knowledge, interacting and discussing practices and approaches, which can make it a better platform for both the students and the institutes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The meet was graced by the presence of 18 Shiksha Experts from different parts of Delhi/NCR, who were welcomed by Komal and Raina.

It commenced with a welcome note by Mr. Prakash Sangam, Business Head-Shiksha.com. In his speech, he formally greeted all the guests and highlighted the guests as to how Shiksha.com came into existence, what all it took to make the website a good education platform for the student community etc.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This was followed by the introduction of Shiksha Experts - Mr. Dhruv Awasthi, Mr. Saurabh Srivastava, Mr. Gautam Joshi, Mr. Nirmal Bhagat, Ms. Shweta Dhyani, Mr. Apar Jain, Ms. Sagarika, Mr. Himal Prasad Ghimiray, Ms. Chhavi Gupta, Mr. Namit Chandra, Mr. Arpit, Mr. Nitin Muralidharan, Mr. Udit Narang, Ms. Priyadarshini Kaul, Ms. Pooja Kohli, Ms. Shreyanjali, Ms. Chitra and Mr. Saurabh Makhija.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then, Ms. Rachna Malhotra, Brand Manager of Shiksha.com, expressed gratitude to all the experts for participating in the event. She explained them the main objective of organizing Shiksha Experts Meet 2010 and the evolution of Shiksha as a brand.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The event progressed with a Presentation by Mr. Vivek Gupta, Head-Sales & Content Operations Shiksha. He explained the recently added product features and their respective functionalities.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After that, an interactive session began in which Shiksha experts came up with some very useful suggestions to make Shiksha.com a better platform for the student community.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Some really useful suggestions were given by Mr. Nirmal Bhagat, a senior advisor on Shiksha.com. He said that certain guidelines should be set for students when they post questions as this will lead them to post complete questions and prompt experts to provide them relevant answer to their questions on Shiksha.com. He also suggested that it should be made mandatory for the student to fill in their important personal details such as financial background, English proficiency etc.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Further, Chitra & Shreyanjali from Asian Business School, Noida applauded Shiksha since their institution has received various conversions in the form of students' admissions from Shiksha.com.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The interactive session was followed by felicitation ceremony. In this, participation certificates along with the trophies as a token of appreciation were given to all the Shiksha Experts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The event concluded with a thank you note from Mr. Vivek Gupta and Mr. Prakash Sangam. It was highly lauded by all the Shiksha experts and said that they look forward to many such events in the future.
