Shiv Nadar launches MBA programme; apply till Jan 20
Shiv Nadar University’s (SNU) School of Management and Entrepreneurship (SME) has invited applications for their first-ever Master of Business Administration session, 2014-16. According to the official website, “the 2 year, full time, residential program is designed specifically to respond to the needs of industry and to provide a high quality education to students who have the passion to develop themselves into outstanding leaders of organisations. SME’s MBA program will offer an electives based structure for students to explore diverse areas of importance to business management based on their interests.”

Eligibility
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from any recognised universities, deemed universities, institutions of national importance or from a Professional Body including ICAI, ICSI, ICWAI, etc. Final year candidates can also apply.
Selection
Candidates will be shortlisted for essay and personal interviews on the basis of CAT 2013 or GMAT (taken on or after August 1, 2011) score. The selected candidates will be called for PI at SNU Campus between March and May, 2014. “The candidates will also be required to demonstrate their analytical and writing skills by writing an essay on a topic given on the spot,” states the official release.

Tuition Fees : Rs 9 lakhs (for two year program)
“The fees includes tuition, accommodation at University hostel (single bedded independent rooms), academic expenses like basic program material, royalty for copyright material, library and network charges. Stay on campus is mandatory for students. This fees does not include mess charges (pay per meal basis), laundry charges (fixed) and other living expenses,” informs the university.
