IFMR:
Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR) Chennai is one of the most prestigious business schools in the country. Graduates in any discipline with consistent academic record can apply. The exam scores which are accepted by IFMR are CAT 2011, XAT 2012 and GMAT. The shortlisted candidates will be called for GD and PI and the application fee is Rs. 1200.
IFIM:
IFIM Business School, Bangalore (The Institute of Finance and International Management) is one of the most prestigious B-schools in the country. It has been ranked among the Top 15 of the 500+ Business Schools. It has started its admission for the year 2012-14. It offers various programs like PGDM, PGDM IB and PGDM Finance. The MBA entrance exams through which the admission will take place are CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA and IIFT. The scores of IIFT will be considered only for students who will apply to MBA IB program. Shortlisted candidates will have to undergo GD and PI processes.
To apply for the programmes at IFIM, you should be a graduate in any discipline with more than 50 per cent aggregate. The application fee is Rs. 1100 and the candidates can apply online.
Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Greater Noida has declared the admission for the academic year 2012-14. It offers various programs like PGDM, PGDM (Insurance Business Management), PGDM (Retail Management) and PGDM (Sustainable Development Practices) in the Greater Noida campus. Programs which have been offered in the Bhubaneswar campuses are PGDM, Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism, Post Graduate Diploma in Communication Design and Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Design.
Interested candidates should have Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with minimum 50 per cent aggregate. The selection will be based on the scores of CAT 2011, XAT 2012 and MAT 2011 & 2012. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Write-up, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
You can apply online or by buying the BIMTECH admission form from the institute or Axis Bank branches. The online application cost is Rs. 1850 and that of buying the forms is Rs. 1800. The last date of the form sale was September 30, 2011. The last date of submitting the completed application forms is December 31, 2011.
