SUAT MBA Exam 2017: Application, Eligibility, Dates

Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT) is conducted by Sharda University. The exam is a gateway for admission to MBA programs offered by the University. The test can be undertaken by MBA aspirants who do not have scores of any national level tests, but are willing to pursue MBA.

 

SUAT is a comprehensive test that is at par with the National /State Level Management Entrance tests and Universities. The test is conducted in an online mode by Sharda University.

 

Eligibility

MBA aspirants must note that before applying, they must check the eligibility criteria of the exam. Applications of candidates failing to meet the eligibility will be rejected by the officials. Here is the eligibility criteria for SUAT MBA exam 2017:

 

  • The candidate applying for the exam should be a graduate, and should have attained 50% marks
  • The candidate should hold proficiency in English communication
  • The final selection shall be done on the basis of the marks scored in SUAT test, followed by Group Discussion/Personal Interview.
  • If the candidate has appeared for MAT and has scored 75 percentile, he/she will be exempted from giving SUAT exam, but will have to attend Group Discussion/Personal Interview.
  • If the candidate has appeared for CAT and has scored 65 percentile, he/she will be exempted from giving SUAT exam, but will have to attend Group Discussion/Personal Interview.

Candidates willing to apply for SUAT need to fill in an online application form. The details required to fill in the application form are as below:

Once the same is duly filled, it needs to be submitted along with the fee. The fee structure for MBA programs offered by the University are as follows:

Once the candidate fills in the application form & submits the required fee, he/she will receive a mail from Sharda University. The mail shall consist of the following:

  • A booking link
  • A User ID/System ID
  • Password

 

These credentials then need to be used by the candidate to login and book his/her exam slot. To book the exam slot, the candidate needs to select the below mentioned:

  • Preferred exam State
  • Preferred exam city
  • Preferred exam centre
  • Date of test
  • Time slot

Once all the details have been filled in, the candidate can download his/her admit card. Candidates must note that the admit card needs to be preserved as the same needs to be carried to their respective test centres.

 

Pattern & syllabus

SUAT 2017 will be conducted in an online mode, and the duration of the exam shall be 90 minutes (1.5 hours). The exam paper will consist of 100 objective type questions. Every question will also consist of 4 alternate answers. Candidates need to select only one correct answer from the options provided along with the question. There is no negative marking for incorrect answer. The question paper will be divided into 3 sections:

  • General Awareness
  • Logical Reasoning
  • Quantitative Aptitude

Once the candidate clears SUAT 2017, he/she will have to appear in Personal Interview rounds and Group Discussion. These rounds will be conducted at the campus/ regional offices of Sharda University
