Things you can’t afford to forget on CMAT February 2015 exam day
Pull up your socks and get ready for CMAT February 2015. The four day exam window commences from tomorrow i.e. February 19, 2015. The exam ends on February 22, 2015.
It is high time to pack the things for your exam day. You must be fully prepared before you leave your home for the exam. Fully prepared doesn’t only mean preparing from books. You must be fully equipped with the necessary things for exam day. There are few documents that has to go along with you to the exam centre to allow you to take the exam.

Also, not only documents, but there are other things as well that you must consider before the exam day itself. Shiksha.com has formed a list of must have things on the exam day. Take a glance at the list below:
1. Admit cards
Get the print out of your hall ticket before the exam day. Also, remember to get it attested from any gazetted officer, notary or authorised institution. Entry to the examination centre will only be on the basis of attested admit cards.
Also, paste a recent passport size photograph on your admit card. Your admit card will contain information about name, roll number, date of birth, exam date and slot, details of exam centre, reporting time and photograph.
2. Photo Identification card
An original and clear photo ID is mandatory to carry along with your admit card. Make sure your name on admit card and photo is same. Also, your photograph on the ID card must be clearly visible. You can carry any of the following photo IDs:
• College ID card
• Passport
• Driver’s License
• UID Card
• PAN Card
• Employee identification card
• Notarized affidavit (in English) with photo, signature, date of birth and residential address
• Voter ID
3. Reserved category certificates
For those students who belongs to reserved categories, you have to carry certificate proving the same. The candidates who comes under this category are Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST) and and Person with Disability (PwD). SC/ST applicants must carry their caste certificates or attested copy of the same. While, candidates belonging to PwD category have to carry their disability certificates or attested copy.
4. Reach centre on time
You cannot afford to reach the test centre late. Aspirants are not allowed to take the exam if reached late. Therefore, leave your home in such a way that you reach your examination centre at least half an hour before the exam time. Confirm your exam time from your admit card as the exam will take place in two slots. Reach the exam centre on the mentioned time slot.
5. Accommodation and transportation
Do not wait for the exam day to figure out how you are travelling to the centre. Make arrangements to travel to the exam centre before the exam day itself. Also, if you are travelling to another city to appear for the exam make all your accommodation arrangements before the exam day.
6. No electronic gadgets or personal items
Candidates will not be allowed to carry any electronics gadgets like mobile phones, wrist watches, calculators, etc to the exam hall. Your personal items will be kept outside the test centre. Therefore, think before you bring any expensive item to the exam centre.
