Third national conference on contemporary management research
The third national conference on contemporary management research (NACCMAR 2010), organised by Apeejay School of Mangement, Dwarka, New Delhi, is going to be held on May 14.
The conference aims at capturing emerging trends in management practices and their subtle expositions in current researches.
The event endeavors to bring academicians, researchers, practicing managers and students together to share their ideas and research findings, discuss contemporary issues and challenges facing the business and industry, and above all, nurture and consolidate a culture of research in various domains of management as well as inter-disciplinary studies in India.
The specific research issues will be covered under the functional categories of marketing, finance, business environment, corporate governance, international business, knowledge management and many more.
Kartik Raina, MD of Dr. Morpen Laboratories Ltd, would be sharing his views on and experience of contemporary management research with the delegates as the chief guest of the event. It is expected that more than 200 delegates from across the country would share their researches and experiences through paper presentations and discussions, this year and 300 external papers have been received so far.
The second national conference (held in June 2009) saw participation of about 200 participants comprising of academicians and corporate delegates
from noted institutions such as IIT Delhi, Western Illinois University, Delhi University, Osmania University, MDI, IIT Roorkee, IGNOU, Jamia Millia Islamia, Lucknow
University, Allahabad University, BIMTECH, etc.
