Warehouse Managers are an integral part of the entire supply chain procedure. They look after proper storage and dispatch of an array of goods which ranges from food, clothing to the manufacturing parts and household items. Their work profile also includes meeting with other department heads with reference to purchasing, sales, production and record control. A warehouse manager is a person responsible for interviewing people for warehouse and supervisory positions. In addition to this, he also ensures that they meet the service expectations, after which they select, hire and train them. These managers also have the authority to dismiss employees, who are not up to the mark and fail to perform as per the industry standards.

Checking, verifying shipping records, handling shipping shortages issues are some of the other jobs of a warehouse manager.

A warehouse manager might get 20,00 INR in the beginning, but with experience one can earn as much as 1 lakh per month.
