XAT 2014 results: 4 toppers score 99.99 percentile
XLRI declares cut-offs for BM and HRM
Four candidates have topped Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2014, informed Professor Vishwa Ballabh, Admission Chairperson of XLRI Jamshedpur. These candidates have scored 99.99 percentile. “Four people are on first position, scoring the highest – 99.99 percentile,” said Professor Ballabh. The results were declared yesterday evening.
“We are yet to decide the cut-offs of XLRI,” Professor Ballabh.
On enquiring about the performance of students this year, he said, “Performance can be seen from two angles – from the perspective of examining body and second from candidate’s perspective. As far as the examining body is concerned, the paper was not discriminatory. We have achieved what we wanted to understand. From the candidates’ point of view, the top end performance was certainly good. The paper was not as difficult as it was made out to be. But, yes, compared to the previous years, the paper was slightly more difficult.”
“We congratulate all students who have done well. Those who haven’t done that well, we hope they do better in the future and other examinations,” he said.
