<p style="text-align: justify;">Under the impact of last year financial meltdown, this year the placement graph at XIMB had once again re-confirmed a 45% jump in average salary. This time also the average salary of Post Graduate Diploma in Management program touched Rs 10.52 lakh.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />This year domestic salary had registered an increase of 12.5 per cent reaching upto Rs 18 lakh while the minimum salary stood at Rs 9.5 <img style="border: 3px solid black; margin: 3px 4px; float: right;" src="https://images.shiksha.com/mediadata/images/1268224522phpO6uVWR.jpeg" alt="" width="150" height="110">lakh. The institute also got highest international package of $150,000 per annum under general management profile</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />Around 58 companies participated in the final leg of XIMB placement process which included Vodafone, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Essar Group, Tata Steel, Mahindra &amp; Mahindra and HSBC.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />There were first time recruiters as well who showed interest in XIMB placement turf like Nokia, Dell, Royal Bank of Scotland, Religare, Daimler and Vistasoft.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />As far as international placement is concerned, OLAM International and AATCO were among those offering attractive pay packages along with varied profiles. The highest international salary offered by OLAM International is around USD 150,000 per annum in the General Management profile.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />Approximately 26 % of the batch forayed into finance, while 15% were engrossed by IT majors. The consulting sector made offers to 17% of the batch, with 23% taking up roles in marketing.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><br />The highest package offered was Rs 9.5 lakh per annum whereas the average salary stood at Rs 5.3 lakh per annum.
