Number of offers and participating companies: About 77 recruiters took part in the placement process and made 260 offers for a batch of 240 students (100% placement). Around 65 students received pre-placement offers from their summer internships.

Unilever, Procter & Gamble, ITC (largest FMCG recruiter; offered roles in supply chain domain), Kraft Cadbury, Asian Paints, Castrol, GSK Consumer Healthcare, CocaCola, Pepsi, Loreal, Colgate Palmolive, Pidilite, Airtel, Vodafone, Tata Motors and Tata Steel offered roles in both sales & marketing and HR;

Pharmaceutical sector represented by Dr. Reddy’s and Ranbaxy;

Lodha Group recruited for its procurement function

The Boston Consulting Group (hired 5 candidates), McKinsey, Gallup, Vector Consulting, Ernst & Young, Cognizant Business Consulting, TSMG, Deloitte, Capgemini Consulting, Wipro Consulting, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Peoplestrong, iCRM and Philips (strategy role)

Technology

Microsoft, Infosys, Times Internet and Mindtree (offered roles in program management, marketing, HR & operations)

According to the placement report released by the institute, Business Management and Human Resources Programme students secured good offers across sectors such as Consulting, FMCGs and other sectors in large numbers.

According to E Abraham, director of XLRI, “The placement process at our campus concluded with the entire batch getting meaningful placement offers from reputed organizations across industry sectors”.
