Exclusive: ICAI CA September 2025 Result- Evaluation going on, likely to be out in early November

The clarification follows speculation on social media and a few media reports suggesting that the ICAI September results could be declared by November 6.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has said that evaluation work for the CA September 2025 exams is still underway, and that no official date has been decided for the release of results.

When contacted by Shiksha.com, an ICAI official on condition of anonymity said, “Currently evaluation is going on, can’t stipulate result dates as of now.”

Exam Schedule and Participation

The September 2025 session covered all three levels of the Chartered Accountancy programme — Foundation, Intermediate, and Final.

According to ICAI’s schedule:

Final course exams were conducted from September 3 to 14.

Intermediate exams took place between September 4 and 15.

Foundation exams were held on September 16, 18, 20, and 22.

In some centres, particularly in Punjab and Jammu, initial papers scheduled for September 3 and 4 were postponed because of heavy rainfall.

Over the last few sessions, the number of candidates appearing for ICAI exams has remained high.

In May 2025 exam cycle, around 99,000 candidates registered for Final exam of which close to 82,000 appeared for Foundation level.

May 2025 results were announced on July 6, and September 2024 results were declared on October 30 last year. Looking at this pattern, September results are expected sometime in early November, with some anticipating it to be out by November 6, however ICAI has not issued any formal notification yet.
